COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The Mountain West on Thursday released a package of Friday football telecasts for the 2014 season, and Colorado State’s regular season finale at Air Force was chosen to conclude the 11-game package. The Rams and Falcons will clash on Friday, Nov. 28, at 1:30 p.m., at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, and the game will be televised to a national audience on CBS Sports Network.
The MW also announced that it anticipates all remaining MW-controlled games on the 2014 schedule will be played on Saturdays. Those television designations and kickoff times will be announced in the coming weeks.
The CSU-Air Force game is the second on the Rams’ 2014 schedule to be announced for television. It was announced on April 3 by the Pac-12 and the University of Colorado that the Rams’ season-opening game against the Buffaloes at Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be played on Friday, Aug. 29 with an “evening kickoff time” and will be televised on one of the ESPN or FOX Sports platforms. CU is the home team for this year’s Rocky Mountain Showdown, a battle for the Centennial Cup.
Colorado State is in its third week of Spring Football, and will take its next scrimmage to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City this Saturday, April 12. The event will begin at 11 a.m. and is free and open to the public.
The Rams’ annual Green and Gold Spring Game will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, at Hughes Stadium.
