FORT COLLINS, Colo. – For one night, Coors Field will turn Green and Gold. The eighth annual Rams at the Rockies event will take place Saturday, July 26.
A collaboration between Colorado State University and the Colorado Rockies baseball club, Rams at the Rockies allows CSU fans, alumni, staff and students to gather together in one location.
In addition to the action on the field – the Rockies play the Pittsburgh Pirates, beginning at 6:10 p.m. – the game will have plenty of Green and Gold flair. Prior to the game, CSU System Chancellor Mike Martin will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and the CSU Chamber Choir will sing the national anthem. CAM the Ram will also be on the field during pre-game festivities, and throughout the stadium during the game.
Additionally, several CSU student-athletes will be on hand signing autographs and handing out schedule posters.
Fans who purchase tickets through the CSU Alumni Association will receive tickets at a discounted rate, beginning at $15. With the purchase of a ticket, one will also receive a pair of CSU Alumni Association sunglasses, while supplies lasts.
Prizes will be given away throughout the evening, including two season tickets for football, two season tickets for volleyball, a CSU football helmet and two club level tickets to the Rocky Mountain Showdown.
