LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) -- Colorado State and Wyoming can relate to each other's season struggles. Both teams have had quarterback injury issues.

Wyoming quarterback Brett Smith has suffered head injuries that kept him out of two games and caused him to miss the pivotal moments of the fourth quarter during a game UW lost to Toledo.

UW coach Dave Christensen tells the Casper Star-Tribune ( HYPERLINK "http://bit.ly/Vg7o9R" ) that Smith has been on the sideline on some two-minute situations at the end of close games.

Colorado State can relate. The Rams' lost starting quarterback Garrett Grayson in the fifth game of the season and he hasn't played since.

Backup quarterback M.J. McPeek also went down, leaving third-string reserve Conner Smith to call plays.

The two teams meet Saturday afternoon in Laramie.
