PUEBLO, Colo.— The Colorado State University-Pueblo baseball program, led by head coach Stan Sanchez and assistants, will host a youth summer camp on the mornings of Monday, June 16-Wednesday, June 18 at Rawlings Field.
The camp will run from 9 a.m.-noon on each of the three days. The cost of the camp is $65 per player. Groups of five or more players from the same team will receive a discounted rate of $55 per player.
The camp, which is designed to mirror the CSU-Pueblo training method, is open for players from age 7 through high school and the training sessions will be divided into age groups. Training sessions will include hitting, infield and outfield play, pitching mechanics, catching fundamentals, base-running and speed building, strength and condition concepts and the mental approach to the game.
Interested participants can sign up by returning a completed flyer or by registering online at PackBaseballCamps.com. Walk-up registrations will also be accepted between 8-9 a.m. at the field on June 16.
Questions can be directed to Sanchez at 719-924-2375.
The program is also planning on a second similar camp from July 14-16.
