CSU-Pueblo's 35-27 win over Western New Mexico preserved their standing as the number-three team in the nation, the AFCA announced Monday.
CSU-Pueblo, now at 3-0 and winners of 18 straight regular season games, were among the nation's top nine teams that won its games last weekend. It is currently behind defending national champion Pittsburg State and 2010 national champ, Minnesota-Duluth, in the poll.
The ThunderWolves will look to improve to 4-0 and potentially rise up the rankings when it hosts conference foe Adams State this week.
