Former Colorado Buffaloes head coach Bill McCartney and running back Erick Bienemy have both been placed on the 2013 College Football Hall of Fame ballot.
There are 77 players and five coaches on the ballot.
McCartney led the Buffs to the 1990 National Championship and three Big Eight Conference titles. He is a Three-time Big Eight Coach of the Year and 1989 National Coach of the Year.
The legendary coach helped CU to nine bowl games in 13 seasons and coached 18 First Team All-America players, including Heisman Trophy winner Rashaan Salaam.
Bieniemy played in two national championships, leading the Buffs to 1990 national title. He was a unanimous First Team All-America and finished third in 1990 Heisman voting. He was also a two-time All-Big Eight pick, still holding eight CU records.
