CSU-Pueblo tailback J.B. Mathews (So., Aurora, Colo.) has been named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week, the RMAC announced Monday.
Mathews set personal bests by rushing for 227 yards and 293 all-purpose yards, equaling a school record in the ThunderWolves' 35-27 win over Western New Mexico Saturday. He helped enable the Pack to improve to 3-0, claiming its 18th straight regular season win and maintaining its number-three ranking in the nation.
This weekend, Mathews and the ThunderWolves return home to host 3-0 Adams State at the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl Saturday night.
