COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — William Rapuzzi’s goal with 1:55 left to play completed a comeback from four goals down and helped Colorado College earn a 4-4 tie with No. 3 New Hampshire in men’s college hockey on Friday.
The first half of the game belonged to the Wildcats (8-1-2), who went up 4-0 on Scott Pavelski’s goal at 10:02 of the second period. Casey Thrush had two goals for New Hampshire, which outshot the Tigers 49-29.
The Tigers (7-5-1) got a goal and two assists from Rylan Schwartz and a goal and assist each from Rapuzzi and Mike Boivin.
Casey DeSmith had 25 saves for New Hampshire. He had allowed one goal in four previous games.
Josh Thorimbert had 18 saves before he was replaced by Joe Howe, who had 27 saves.
