BALTIMORE, Md. – Air Force sophomore lacrosse player Keith Dreyer was recently named to Inside Lacrosse’s Face-Off Yearbook 2013 Division I Preseason All-America Team. Dreyer was tabbed an honorable mention selection on this year’s team.
Dreyer, an attackman from Malvern, Pa., is the first Falcon to receive preseason All-America recognition since 2010. As a freshman, Dreyer led Air Force in both assists (27) and total points (46), tying for the program’s best single-season assist total since 1990 and posting the team’s best single-season point total since 1998. The Falcons’ offensive MVP and co-rookie of the year in 2012, Dreyer was also ranked nationally in assists per game (seventh) and points per game (T21st), leading all freshmen in the nation in both categories.
The Falcons begin the 2013 season on Feb. 8, when they visit North Carolina, rated fifth in the Face-Off Yearbook’s preseason rankings.
