USAFA, Colo. – Air Force water polo player Josh Stedman was recently named an All-American for the 2013 season, as announced by the ACWPC (Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches). Stedman was named an honorable mention selection for the second-straight season, becoming just the third player in school history to earn multiple All-America honors.
Stedman, a senior attack from Brea, Calif., was the team’s leading scorer in 2013. He registered 62 points on the season, including a team-best 48 goals, while also leading the Falcons with 33 steals. A three-time first-team All-WWPA honoree, Stedman closed out his career as the fifth-leading goal scorer in school history with 184 career goals, while ranking eighth in the Air Force record books with 251 career points.
