COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Air Force wrestler Josh Martinez will be one of 19 honorees at the 16th-annual Hall of Fame Honors Banquet held by the Colorado Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. The event will be held Saturday, May 10, at the Marriott Hotel in Colorado Springs.
Martinez, a sophomore from Colorado Springs, will be honored as the College Wrestler of the Year for the state of Colorado. Martinez finished the 2013-14 season with a 33-5 overall mark, earning his second straight NCAA appearance.
Among the awards that will be handed out at the annual honors banquet are the Lifetime Service to Wrestling Award, the Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award and 10 Colorado state wrestling awards.
