EDMOND, Okla. (GoThunderWolves.com - Jan. 17, 2013) - The NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll and rankings were released Wednesday, with ThunderWolves wrestler Jesse Hillhouse remaining the number one ranked 125-pounder.
Hillhouse began the season ranked seventh, but has since then risen to the number one spot, a position he has held since the rankings were released on Dec. 5. He currently holds a 17-3 overall record, with his only losses to Division I wrestlers.
St. Cloud State took over the top spot in the team rankings displacing the University of Nebraska-Kearney who had held the spot since the initial rankings. Colorado Mesa leads all RMAC schools at the 10 spot, followed by Grand Canyon ranked 12th and Adams State ranked 17th.
The Pack will travel to Nebraska-Kearney Saturday to take part in the Loper Duals. Action starts at 9 a.m. against fellow RMAC foe, San Franicisco State.
