Dallas police mistakenly Tweeted they arrested Denver Bronco Aqib Talib for public intoxication and throwing bottles outside a night club when they actually arrested his brother.
The incident happened at 1:45 a.m. Sunday in Dallas.
Talib's agent Todd France scrambled Sunday to let everyone know his client wasn't the one arrested.
More than two hours after the initial Tweet, the Dallas police department finally made a correction and Tweeted that the person arrested was Yaqub Talib,31, according to CBS.
It's unclear why Dallas police thought they had the NFL player in custody in the first place.
