CENTERVILLE, Mass. – For the second-straight week, Air Force senior Mike Crampton has been named the ECAC Lacrosse League Offensive Player of the Week, as released by the league today. It marks the third weekly award for Crampton this season and the fourth of his career. Additionally, Crampton was honored as the Air Force Co-Athlete of the Week.

Crampton, a native of Kinnelon, N.J., led the Falcons’ offense with seven points, tallying four goals and three assists in Air Force’s 15-12 win over ECAC foe Michigan on Saturday. Crampton completed a hat trick in the first four minutes of the contest, while scoring the eventual game winner late in the third quarter.

With his performance, Crampton reached 101 goals for his career, tying with Tom Sexton for 10th all-time in school history. Additionally, Crampton is the first Falcon since 1994 to score 100 career goals in his career.

Other ECAC honorees this week included Fairfield’s Jack Murphy and Michael Roe, who were named the defensive player and specialist of the week, respectively, and Ohio State’s Jake Withers, who was tabbed the rookie of the week.

Air Force, which has won four straight games, is back at home this Saturday, April 5, for an non-conference match-up versus Mercer at 12:00 p.m.
