For the past 8 years, the Pro Football Camp featuring these NFL players has created an amazing, motivational experience for kids in the Colorado Springs area. More than 2,000 kids have been impacted by the NFL athletes at the Pro Football Camp, who not only teach football skills, but also share their stories.
Pro Football Camp is all about giving back to the community. The NFL athletes embrace this by donating their time to teach football skills as well as character qualities. The NFL athletes take pride in the fact that this camp is a genuine way to better the youth both on and off the field. They share stories of their journeys, which demonstrate courage, determination, integrity, hard work and perseverance. Every athlete has a story of challenges and obstacles they have had to overcome to succeed. Their stories truly are an inspiration to all.
Greg Scruggs of the Seattle Seahawks can’t wait to come back again this year. “I look forward to making an impact on these kids’ lives because I know from personal experience it really makes a difference. As a kid, I had a Pro come and talk to me. He impacted my life so much that I wanted to make sure I came out here to do my part. I wanted to make an impression on their lives because I know how great a difference it makes.”
Former Denver Broncos Captain Chris Kuper, who has coached at the camp multiple years shared, “The camp is so much more powerful then football, it’s a way to invest in the community and give back. The kids learn life lessons and enjoy learning about football directly from us.” Chris has been active at the camp in years past and thoroughly enjoys it every time.
Wonderful and exciting things happen every year at the Pro Football Camp, and this year will be no different.
