Colaiacovo scores in OT to lift Blues over Avs 3-2

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Carlo Colaiacovo scored 3:18 into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night.

David Perron added two goals and an assist as the Blues won for the fourth time in five games and improved to 15-0-3 in their last 18 at home. St. Louis, which is among the NHL's best home teams at 23-3-4, has recorded at least one point in a franchise-record 18 straight games overall.

Shane O'Brien and Erik Johnson scored for the Avalanche, who snapped a two-game winning streak with their sixth loss in eight games.

Colaiacovo tipped in a shot from Patrik Berglund to help the Blues improve to 5-7 in overtime games
