KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Peyton Manning and the Broncos' high-flying offense against the Chiefs' stingy defense?
Yeah, worthy of attention.
Then again, Sunday's AFC West showdown might come down to whether Kansas City's popgun offense can put up points against Denver's porous defense.
The Chiefs (9-0) haven't scored an offensive touchdown in its last six quarters, but it'll be going against a Broncos (8-1) defense that ranks in the bottom half of the league in just about every significant statistical category.
If nothing else, Kansas City figures its offense can at least help its defense by keeping the Broncos off the field. The Chiefs are among the league leaders in time of possession, and Peyton Manning and Co. can't hurt them if they're standing on the sideline.
