PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com – Apr. 2, 2014) — The Colorado State University baseball and softball programs will show their support in the fight against breast cancer at games this weekend, offering discounted admission to the games.
The softball team, currently in first place in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings, will wear pink uniforms during Saturday's (Apr. 5) conference doubleheader against Chadron State at the Rawlings Complex. The baseball team will follow suit during their Sunday game (Apr. 6) against Colorado Mesa in a battle of the RMAC’s top two teams at Rawlings Field. Both events begin at noon on the respective days.
Fans can get into the action by wearing pink clothing, which will entitle fans a discounted admission price of just $2, a substantial discount off the normal $5 adult or $4 student and senior price.
Additionally, CSU-Pueblo athletic officials will be passing around a pink bucket for donations, which will be given to the St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center’s Breast Center of Excellence.
