NEW YORK (AP) -- Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos have moved to the top of the AP Pro32 NFL power rankings for the first time after their ninth straight victory.

With their latest win at Baltimore, Denver edges San Francisco for the No. 1 spot by three points.

The Broncos (11-3) and 49ers (10-3-1) each received six first-place votes Tuesday in balloting by The Associated Press' panel of 12 media members who regularly cover the league. Denver outpointed San Francisco 375-372 in the closest voting of the season.

The 49ers knocked off previous No. 1 New England on Sunday night. The Patriots fell to third, with Atlanta and Houston fourth and fifth, respectively, after bouncing back from losses with big wins Sunday.

Kansas City is 32nd and last after being shut out by No. 30 Oakland
