ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Wednesday signed free-agent fullback Austin Sylvester, it was announced.
Sylvester, who originally signed with Denver as a college free agent from the University of Washington in 2011, spent five weeks on the Broncos’ practice squad last season in addition to seeing time on the club’s active roster for two contests, including its AFC Wild Card Game against Pittsburgh.
He did not appear in any games during his rookie season, which also included a two-week stint on Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
