BRONCOS SIGN LB BRANDON MARSHALL TO PRACTICE SQUAD

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Monday signed linebacker Brandon Marshall to their practice squad, it was announced.
Marshall (6-1, 250 pounds) is a second-year player who saw action in five games as a rookie for Jacksonville last season after being selected by the club in the fifth round (142nd overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He also spent a portion of the season competing on the Jaguars’ practice squad.
A four-year starter at the University of Nevada, Marshall totaled 259 tackles (145 solo), 40 tackles for a loss, six sacks, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries during his career for the Wolf Pack.
He attended Cimarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, where he played running back, tight end and linebacker. Marshall was born on Sept. 10, 1989.
