ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Sunday were assigned linebacker Adrian Robinson off waivers from Philadelphia, it was announced.
Robinson (6-1, 250 pounds) is a second-year player who saw action in 12 games as a rookie for the Steelers in 2012 after being signed by the club as a college free agent. He was traded to the Eagles for running back Felix Jones on Aug. 23.
He started 38-of-50 career games played at Temple University, twice earning All-Mid-American Conference accolades and being named MAC Defensive Player of the Year following his sophomore season in 2009.
A first-team all-state performer at Harrisburg (Pa.) High School, Robinson was born on Nov. 21, 1989.
