Air Force Men's Basketball Accepts Bid to CIT

USAFA, Colo. -- The Air Force men’s basketball team earned its seventh postseason appearance in program history when it accepted an invitation Sunday evening to play in the 2013 Tournament. The Falcons will play the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors in the first round on Wednesday, March 20 at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Tip-off time has not yet been determined.

Hawai’i enters the CIT with a 17-14 overall record. The Rainbow Warriors, who finished fifth in the Big West Conference with a 10-8 league mark, lost to UC Irvine, 71-60, in the conference tournament quarterfinals on March 14.
