LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Air Force baseball dropped a 4-1 ballgame at UNLV at Earl E. Wilson Stadium Friday night. The loss dropped the Falcons to 8-16, 2-3 and improved the Rebels to 18-8, 3-4.
UNLV jumped ahead 4-0 and held off the Falcons, who scored a run in the seventh inning.
Rebel starting pitcher Erick Fedde (4-0) tossed a complete game, striking out 10. The Rebels had 11 hits, with three players with two hits each.
Falcon starting pitcher Cameron White (2-5) struck out four in six innings in the loss. Bo Wilson and Dillon Freeman pitched scoreless innings in relief.
Air Force had seven hits on the night. Catcher Garrett Custons and center fielder David Baska had two hits each. Matt Thorne scored the Falcons' lone run, with Custons getting the RBI.
