The Wasson football team will retire the number 22 on Thursday night before their annual rivalry game against Mitchell. The number formerly worn by Diontea Forrest who was shot and killed two months ago in Colorado Springs.
Before the game, the school will host a tailgate party at 4pm to help raise funds for Forrest's family. Community donations are needed. Organizers are asking for things like:
1) Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chips
2) Plastic-ware
3) Money
