Cody Hawkins threw two touchdown passes and ran for another as Colorado shut out Miami of Ohio 42-0 today in Boulder.
Hawkins finished 19-of-30 for 275 yards as the Buffaloes racked up 634 yards of total offense.
It was the first time the RedHawks have been shut out since a 21-0 loss at Ball State in 1993.
Hugh Charles rushed for 123 yards. He also had a 17-yard touchdown.
Daniel Raudabaugh completed 11 of 32 passes for 95 yards in his first start of the season for Miami. He had come off the bench the past two games to relieve Mike Kokal, who has a thumb injury.
Miami was without tailbacks Brandon Murphy and Andre Bratton, who both suffered knee injuries earlier this season.
