Denver Broncos kicker Jason Elam (EE'-lum) is being named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his game-winning field goal Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
NFL officials informed the Broncos of the award today.
The last-minute kick marked the second game in a row in which Elam scored the game-winner. A week before the Broncos beat the Raiders 23-20, Elam made a 42-yarder to give Denver a 15-14 win over Buffalo.
The player of the week award is Elam's fifth such honor.
