Denver Broncos defensive back Karl Paymah has been taken to the hospital after sustaining a concussion in the second quarter of tonight's game against Arizona.
He dipped his head and took a knee to the helmet from Arizona Cardinals running back Steve Baylark in the second quarter.
Paymah lay on the field for five minutes before being strapped to a backboard and carted off the field to an ambulance. The Broncos said he was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
The Broncos lost linebacker Warrick Holdman for the season when he injured his spinal cord on a similar play early in training camp.
