The Colorado Rockies are enjoying a day off Thursday before starting a three-game series against the Diamondbacks tomorrow in Arizona.
Ubaldo Jimenez will start for Colorado as the Rox work to recover from their latest series loss.
Garrett Atkins homered twice and drove in four runs and Jeff Francis tossed a complete-game six-hitter as the Colorado Rockies beat San Francisco 8-0 on Wednesday.
But that was the Rockies' only win of their stretch with the Giants.
Chris Iannetta and Brad Hawpe also homered as the Rockies avoided a three-game sweep.
Francis struck out three and walked one improving his record to 14-and-6.
Giants starter Noah Lowry was pounded for seven runs over three innings and fell to 14-and-8.
