The Colorado Springs Sky Sox set a single-season attendance record of 274,408 fans, as the Triple-A club closed out its home schedule Sunday.
The 6,350 people who watched the Colorado Rockies affiliate Sunday helped the team top the previous record of 269,904 set in 2001.
The top attendance date of the 2007 season was May 11, when 8,537 fans attended.
The Sky Sox set the single-season record even though six home games were snowed out. The club has eight games left, but all are on the road.
