AFA D-Lineman signs contract with Broncos

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Defensive lineman Ben Garland signed a rookie free agent contract with the Denver Broncos on Monday.

Garland was a second-team All-Mountain West Conference pass rusher from the Air Force Academy.

Garland started 34 games during his career with the Falcons and recorded 115 career tackles and 11.5 career sacks. He also forced three fumbles and blocked two kicks during his time at the Academy.

Garland stands 6'5" tall and weighs 275 pounds. He is one of 19 free agent rookies brought in by the Denver Broncos.
