DENVER (AP) -- Brad Hawpe and Matt Holliday homered to help the Colorado Rockies beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-2. The slumping Brewers have lost 10 of their last 14 games but still lead the NL Central by one game over the Chicago Cubs.
Prince Fielder hit his NL-leading 33rd homer. Rookie Ryan Braun also connected for Milwaukee.
The Rockies scored four runs off Claudio Vargas in the first inning. Vargas falls to 9-and-4.
Josh Fogg went seven innings for the Rockies for the win. He's 6-and-7.
