A goal scored with 42 seconds left in the game put an end to the Air Force Falcons hockey season

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - (KKTV) A goal scored with 42 seconds left in the game put an end to the Air Force Falcons hockey season.

Sacred Heart's Patrick Knowlton scored with time winding down to send the Pioneers past the Falcons 2-1 and into the Atlantic Hockey Association championship game.

The Falcons trailed 1-0 with just over 90 seconds left in the game. Shortly after that Jacques Lamoureux scored the equalizer to tie the game up at one. 45 seconds later Knowlton scored the game winner.

Sacred Heart will take on top seeded R.I.T. in the AHA Final on Saturday, March 20.
