USAFA, CO - Three years ago Shaun Carney became the first freshman starting quarterback in Air Force history. Wednesday, he walked onto the field for fall camp a polished senior.

Carney and the Falcons reported for the 2007 season and took to the practice field.

Carney has a chance to make 2007 a record-breaking season. He is just 890 yards shy of becoming Air Force's all-time leading passer. He also needs just five touchdown passes to break another school record.

But breaking school records isn't on Carney's "To-Do" list for 2007. He wants to go to a bowl game. Something the Falcons have yet to do under Carney who are just 13-21 in his tenure.

The Falcons open up Carney's senior campaign against South Carolina State on September 1st at Falcon Stadium.
