PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Brad Hawpe (hahp) and Todd Helton each hit two-run homers in Colorado's 5-to-3 win at Pittsburgh.
Rockies starter Jeff Francis won his fifth decision in a row to improve to 10-and-5. He gave up six hits in seven innings and helped himself with an R-B-I single.
Francis is now 9-and-1 over his past 13 starts
Manny Corpas pitched the ninth for his third save.
Bucs starter Ian Snell takes the loss and falls to 7-and-7.
Freddy Sanchez and Adam LaRoche homered for the Pirates, who suffered their sixth straight loss to fall a season-low 14 games under .500.
Clint Hurdle won his 400th game with Rockies, becoming the second manager to reach that milestone. Don Baylor is the franchise's leader with 440 wins.
