SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - The Colorado Crush won't be going to the ArenaBowl.
Mark Grieb threw nine touchdown passes and the San Jose SaberCats beat the Colorado Crush 76-67 Saturday to advance to the American Conference Championship game in arena football.
Grieb completed 30 of 41 passes for 316 yards. James Roe had 14 catches for 135 yards and five touchdowns.
Colorado quarterback John Dutton threw for 416 yards and was 29-of-37 passing for the Crush. He threw eight scoring passes, including three each to receivers Damian Harrell and Brad Pyatt.
The SaberCats will play the winner of Monday night's game between the Los Angeles Avengers and the Chicago Rush next Saturday for the right to compete in ArenaBowl XXI (21) on July 29.
