The 2009-2010 basketball season has been anything but typical for the Rampart Rams.
On September 26th of last year they lost their teammate Nick Reff, a Junior who died at his sleep at just 17-years-old.
Reff was a key member of the Rams basketball team and a good friend to many on the team. The Rams are now remembering Reff and using him as inspiration. He is still listed on the roster and his name is announced among the non-starters at each home game.
Rampart isn't known as a basketball powerhouse, but so far this season they are exceeding expectations. The Rams are off to a 16-1 start and are ranked second in the state in the 5A classification.
