DENVER (AP) - Tampa Bay used two home runs from Jonny Gomes to avoid being swept by the Colorado Rockies Sunday in Denver.

Carlos Pena added a solo shot as the Devil Rays beat the Rockies 7-4.

It was the fourth multi-homer game of his career and first since June 11 of last season against Kansas City. Gomes, who now has four homers this season, finished the day with three hits and four R-B-Is.

The loss ended the Rockies' four-game winning streak and a bid for their first sweep at home this season.
