DENVER (AP) - Jason Hirsh out pitched Greg Maddux for the second time this season as Colorado beat San Diego 4-2.

Hirsh is 2-1 after giving up two runs and four hits while striking out seven in seven innings. He also beat Maddux in San Diego's home opener on April 6th.

The Rockies nicked Maddux for four runs and seven hits in seven innings, dropping him to 1-2.

Matt Holliday had three hits, including an RBI single that snapped a one all tie in the fourth. Holliday also doubled and tripled for the Rockies, who haven't homered in five straight home games.

Brian Fuentes got the last three outs for his fourth save.

Khalil Greene homered for the Padres.
