BYU quarterback Max Hall can set a school record for wins this week when the 19th-ranked Cougars host Air Force.

Hall says he'd rather be playing for a Mountain West Conference title on Saturday, but knows how significant winning 30 games in his career would be.

Hall tied Ty Detmer's record with his 29th win last week when the Cougars beat New Mexico. He says he hopes to look back on it someday, but he's not playing just to try to break the record.

The Cougars (8-2, 5-1 Mountain West) have two games remaining. After the Falcons (7-4, 5-2) on Saturday, BYU hosts rival Utah next week. If the Cougars can win both, they will have won at least 10 games for the fourth straight year.

Air Force has won three straight and four of its last five.
