Marquis, Hawpe named to All-Star team
The Rockies recent surge may have helped them land one extra player on the National League All-Star roster. Brad Hawpe was expected to make the squad ranking near the top in several offensive categories in the National League.

The Rockies recent surge may have helped them land one extra player on the National League All-Star roster. Brad Hawpe was expected to make the squad ranking near the top in several offensive categories in the National League.
Jason Marquis is the other Rockies player named to the team. Marquis leads the National League in wins with 10. Two players thought to have enough credentials to get in but didn't were starting pitcher Aaron Cook, and closer Huston Street.
