The Denver Broncos have been awarded wide receiver C.J. Jones off waivers from Kansas City.

Jones is a third-year player who has spent time on the active roster with Cleveland in 2003 and New England in 2008, as well as parts of two seasons on the practice squad with the Browns (2003-04) and Patriots ('07).

The Chiefs signed Jones, who went to Iowa, on March 5 as an unrestricted free agent, but waived him on June 19.
