Cheyenne Mountain Rallies To Win 4A State Title

Cheyenne Mountain rallied from behind on Saturday to beat Mountain View 9-8 to win the 4A state championship. It is the school's first baseball title since 1962.

The Indians rallied late in the game from a 7-2 deficit to tie the game at seven going into the 7th inning. After Mountain View scored one run in the top of the inning, Cheyenne Mountain countered with two in the bottom of the 7th to win the title.

Cheyenne Mountain also defeated Wheat Ridge 6-1 in a state semifinal earlier Saturday just to earn the berth into the state title game.
