Bowlen: Broncos Will Try To Trade QB Cutler

The Denver Broncos said Tuesday they will grant Jay Cutler his request and try to trade the disgruntled Pro Bowl quarterback.

There is no shortage of teams interested in the 25-year-old rocket-armed Pro Bowl quarterback.

Broncos owner Pat Bowlen released a statement saying both he and coach Josh McDaniels had been unable to get Cutler to call them back over the last 10 days. Bowlen said he spoke with Cutler's agent, Bus Cook, on Tuesday and came away convinced "that Jay no longer has any desire to play for the Denver Broncos."

Therefore, Bowlen said, "We will begin discussions with other teams in an effort to accommodate his request to be traded."

Wow! Many of these comments surprise me. Being a fan from the Orange Crush days we have all watched the Broncos go through ups and downs like all NFL teams. I say we sit back and hang on for the next chapter in our teams future. Thats why we're fans...right? We stick with our boys no matter what!!! Go Orange and Blue!

This is completely stupid on both sides. Jay Cutler should have made more of an effort to repair the relationship with McDaniels. McDaniels on the other hand is at biggest fault here. He expected Cutler to be the bigger man when McDaniels screwed up? Both sides handled this poorly, and Denver will be 4 and 12 next year because there isn't anything Denver will get for Jay Cutler that is worth it.

Jay is an embarassment to the entire league, and for anyone to sign him would be an embarassment to the whole team... I agree with the coment mentioned below...bench his arse, teach the youth that you have to earn the right to be a star, and Jay is far from it. I almost feel bad for his family to have to endure his imaturity and disrespect.
