The Colorado Avalanche are hoping right wing Milan Hejduk will be able to play Tuesday at Columbus.

Hejduk's jaw was hurt in a game Saturday against St. Louis. He left the game in the first period and didn't return after a hit by Blues forward Brandon Crombeen.

But yesterday the Avalanche learned he didn't suffer a fracture.

Hejduk leads the Avalanche with 20 goals. He also has 20 assists.
