The Denver Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points Friday night in his return to the court after missing 10 games with a broken right hand.
And though Anthony played 30 minutes in the Nuggets 110-99 win over Charlotte, Nuggets' coach George Karl says he doesn't expect Anthony to play his regular 34 minutes per game. Karl says it's probably be another two weeks before Anthony is back to his playing time. Anthony averaged 36.4 minutes a game last season.
Anthony played with his two middle fingers wrapped in athletic tape, per doctor's orders, in Friday's game. The Nuggets are off Monday before hosting San Antonio Tuesday.
