Kristin Hernandez scored 19 points and Andrea Riley added 18 to help the No. 22 Oklahoma State women's basketball team to a 79-43 victory over Colorado Wednesday night.
The Cowgirls (12-3, 1-1 Big 12 Conference) finished the first half with a 19-0 run, sparked by consecutive 3-pointers by Hernandez, and led 44-17 at halftime.
The Buffaloes (8-6, 0-2) went scoreless over the final 7:50 of the first half, hitting just 28-percent from the floor and turning it over 14 times.
Riley, who also had 12 assists, opened the second half with a pair of 3-pointers and finished a fast break with a layup and free throw as Oklahoma State took a 57-22 advantage with 14:24 to play.
Brittany Spears scored a team-high 11 points on 4-of-17 shooting for Colorado.
