Former WIdefield Gladiator and current San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.
The California Highway Patrol says Jackson failed sobriety tests shortly after 2 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 52, west of Interstate 805. Jackson's blood alcohol level was unknown.
The CHP said Jackson was taken to a San Diego County sheriff's department detention facility and released.
The Chargers visit Pittsburgh in a playoff game Sunday.
