Champ Bailey is hoping he can heal enough to be on the field, not the sideline, for his homecoming to Georgia. Denver plays at Atlanta Sunday.
The Broncos cornerback who's out with a groin injury grew up in Folkston, Ga. Bailey has missed the past two games, but practiced yesterday on a limited basis.
Bailey was a standout player at the University of Georgia.
Coach Mike Shanahan says Bailey is pushing himself. He says: "We'll wait and see."
