Reinforcements Arrive For Banged-up Broncos

By  |

The Broncos signed linebacker Mario Haggan and defensive back Roderick Rogers to their active roster Tuesday and also promoted running back P.J. Pope from their practice squad. They also waived tight end Chad Mustard and signed running back Cory Boyd and linebacker Tyson Smith to their practice squad.

The Broncos (4-4) play at Cleveland (3-5) Thursday night. They're without several players, including leading tackler D.J. Williams, running backs Michael Pittman (neck) and Andre Hall (hand). Safety Marlon McCree is out several weeks with a high ankle sprain.
